The Outstanding Contribution Award recognizes deserving teachers and administrators who have contributed “above and beyond” to the world language community in Oregon and beyond. Any COFLT member may nominate a teacher or administrator with whom they have worked. 

Nominee expectations

• Relevant background and outstanding work in the field of language learning. 

• Work that has gone above and beyond, citing specific examples. 

• Contributions the nominee has made to the field of language learning. 

• Concrete evidence of best practices in the classroom or in administration. 

Nomination

The nomination documents for this award include:

1. a nomination form, 
2. a statement from the nominee explaining the reasons to merit this award addressing these items, 
   
3. a CV/Resume, 
4. and one letter of support with whom they have worked and who has made substantial contributions to the language learning field providing the reasons the individual deserves the award.
